FLEDGLING Redland sponsor Absolute Domestics has upped the ante and increased its sponsorship to the new Gold status with the Bombers for 2020.
The cleaning business operates out of Victoria Point and has established itself as one of the biggest and most successful in Australia, operating in all States as well as New Zealand.
Absolute Domestics only came on board as a sponsor for the first time this year.
Senior manager Vicki Williams said: “We are happy to offer our continued support to Redland Football Club and we are really looking forward to a successful year next year.
“We are excited by the players who have signed on for next year. It will be great to see some old faces again.”
The owner for Absolute Domestics, Joy Vess, attended a few games this year and thoroughly enjoyed herself and is looking forward to attending games again next year.
Joy said she understands how important sponsorship is to the team and is happy to be able to increase “our support”.
“Just like our business is flourishing we are looking forward to Redland really kicking on next season and pushing for a spot in the finals.”
The increased sponsorship was welcomed by the Bombers’ Business Manager, Maree Thomson.
“This is really good news and the club is thrilled as well as grateful for the increase in sponsorship.”
The Williams family have a very close relationship with the football club.
Vicki’s husband Adrian is a star defender with the Bombers.
He is a two-time winner of the Dowling Medal for the club best and fairest and has twice won NEAFL Team of the Year honours.
Adrian and Vicki look after the New Zealand side of the operation, where 500 cleaners are on the books joining the almost 5000 who are employed in Australia.
The business employs 300 cleaners in Redland.
Absolute Domestics is a booking agency that provides the wherewithal for cleaners to operate efficiently in your home.
From police checks, to training and insurance, Absolute Domestics takes the hard work out of finding the right cleaner to help with the household chores.
All you need to do as a client is to decide how many hours you require based on your budget and what chores you’d like covered in that time.
The point of contact are the area co-ordinators.
They painstakingly act as a referral agent matching trustworthy and reliable cleaners, to individuals, families or busy homes needing help with the household chores.
The most popular service is the three-hour weekly, where cleaners pop in and give the home a thorough spruce-up, freeing the homeowner from those chores which might occupy too much of their weekends.
“The thing is we provide a service that really suits people from all walks of life,” Vicki says.
“The client receives something really tangible and our cleaners can work when it suits them and if that means 12 or 15 hours a week, then that’s the hours they work.
“They love doing it.”
The business was started by Vicki’s parents – Ron and Joy Vess – in Capalaba 25 years ago.
