The Redland Football Club will commence the search for a new Senior Coach after Leigh Harding advised the club he would not be seeking re-appointment for 2019.
Harding coached the Bombers for the 2017/18 NEAFL seasons after spending four years on the coaching staff of the Brisbane Lions
Redland Football Club Chairman Colin Tobiasen stated “On behalf of the Board of Redland Football Club I would like to document our thanks and gratitude to Leigh for his dedication and application in coaching our club during the past two seasons”
“From our perspective no coach has worked harder or offered a greater level of professionalism towards this club and while it’s disappointing to lose Leigh a lot of his values, education, and character will hopefully be legacies that the playing group take forward in their footballing and life endeavours” Tobiasen added.
Harding advised a delegation of the playing group of his decision on Wednesday night at the club.
