The Redland Football Club is pleased to announce that Phil Carse has been appointed Senior Coach for the 2019/20 NEAFL seasons.
33 year old Carse returns to Scottsdale Park, a venue he knows so well after an illustrious 8 year career as a player from 2007-2014.
In a 148 game career with the Bombers Carse captained the club from 2008-2012, was a three time Dowling Medallist (2007, 09, 10) and represented the NEAFL in 2012.
Carse has been Playing Coach at the Camperdown Football Club affiliated with the Hampden Football Netball League in the Western Districts of Victoria from 2015-2018
Through that period Camperdown made the finals twice including last Saturday’s 11 point loss to Koroit in the Grand Final.
From an individual perspective Carse has been a two time Camperdown Runner-Up Best and Fairest, a Hampden FNL Runner-Up Best and Fairest, was selected three times in the Hampden FNL Team of the Year, and in 2018 was named Hampden FNL Coach of the Year.

Carse who is currently overseas will relocate back to the Redlands with wife Abby and their three children during October.
