REDLAND Football Club is proud to announce Totally Workwear Capalaba and Hemmant as the club’s new PLATINUM sponsor for season 2020.
Business owner Josh Mitchell said he was “very excited” to be joining forces with the Bombers as they prepare for the new NEAFL season.
“We see the Redland Bombers as a club which does great things in the community,” Mr Mitchell said.
“That’s also our focus as a business and as a family and we are looking forward to a great association.”
Mr Mitchell and his wife Angela own and operate both the Capalaba and Hemmant stores.
They have five children – Zac, Cortney, Katie, Noah and Brody.
Noah plays in the Under 11s with the Victoria Point Sharks juniors.
A former Melbournite, Mr Mitchell naturally hails from an AFL background supporting Hawthorn and has carved out an extensive playing and coaching career since moving to Brisbane.
Mr Mitchell recognised the Bombers as being a participant in a semi-professional league and as such and being involved in an “upper level” competition his wish was to become a part of the organisation.
“When the opportunity arose to come on board as the Platinum Sponsor we were thrilled to do so.”
With the store in Capalaba being so recognisable and the Redland Football Club providing a key pathway to the elite competition in the nation, Mr Mitchell said he was keenly looking forward to forging an exciting alliance.
Mr Mitchell has been with Totally Workwear for nine years and he and Angela have owned the two stores independently for the last three.
“While the two stores are the brick and mortar, we also operate on a business to business basis and operate locally as well as nationally.
“We are part of Australia’s largest network of service providers in workwear, corporate wear and safety gear.
“As far as workwear is concerned, we supply top-to- toe across a huge range of product.
“Having an 82-store network means we can ensure customers are getting focused service, backed with Australia’s best buying power for the best value and quality.”
Some essentials of Totally Workwear: a one-stop shop for all workwear needs; trained knowledgeable staff in all aspects of the business; quality brand named products; specialised fitting service, onsite and off, and; delivery service.
Mr Mitchell expected the association with the Bombers to be profitable for both.
“I’m eagerly awaiting the start of next season,” he said.
“It will be a beauty.”
The club wishes to thank Australian Framing Solutions for its commitment over the past two seasons.
“We’ve had a wonderful association with Jake Gundry and his team over the journey and we wish them well and say a big thankyou for everything they have done,” Redland Business Manager, Maree Thomson said.
